Dr. Ruth Pauline Plummer is a multitalented multifaceted minister of the gospel. She is an astute successful business and television professional being used as an instrument of change and hope in numerous arenas. She is an award-winning national and international recording artist with a mission to minister music with a message of healing to the whole man, spirit, body, and soul.
 

For over two decades, Dr. Plummer has served the body of Christ in capacities of evangelism, television host, Christian educator, and has served as a national community organizer, and event coordinator/ project manager for many non-profit organizations. Additionally, she is a well sought out itinerate speaker.
 

Among Dr. Plummer giftedness, she serves as a humanitarian, entrepreneur, and CEO/ Founder of Covenant Daughters International Ministries Inc, a 501c3 organization committed to preserving the authenticity and trustworthiness of the Gospel message through mentorship.
 

The First Lady of Israel
 

Earlier this year, Presiding Bishop Charles Blake and the entire leadership of the Church of God in Christ, made a historic decision after 112 years of its existence by establishing the nation of Israel (The Holy Land) as a Jurisdiction of COGIC and appointed Dr. Glenn Plummer as the first Bishop of Israel. This decisive action resulted in Dr. Pauline Plummer becoming the “First Lady of Israel Jurisdiction”. Therefore, she is the first American woman in history to hold such a title.

 

Ministry Accomplishments

As a minister of the Gospel for more than 25 years, Dr. Plummer’s life mission is to: 1.) advance the Kingdom of God through preaching/teaching the unadulterated Word of God, 2.) singing songs of His power to heal and deliverance, and 3.) establishing works by co-laboring with the five-fold ministry gifts.

• Christian Educator and Minister

• Served as instructor for the Potter’s Institute Bible College, T. D. Jakes, Dallas, TX

• Founder of Covenant Daughters Intl Ministries serving the Dallas-Ft. Worth and Austin, TX, Israel, London, UK and Detroit, MI areas. 

• As a youth pastor established the youth ministry for six years at Christ Abundant Life Ministries. 

• Served as a Community Organizer and Life Coach for Ambassadors for Christ Ministries, a transitional ministry for homeless men from all walks of life. 

• Served with Bishop Eddie Long in rebuilding inner city communities. 

• Served with SCLC (Southern Christian Leadership Conference) 

• Assisted with “Justice for Girls” program directed by Cathelean Steele.

 

Community Outreach 

Served with World Changers Ministries “Prestige Ministry “Directed by Pastor Taffi Dollar. Prestige is a program designed to help empower and build the self-esteem and self-worth of women who are involved in the sex industry.

Dr. Plummer is the founder of Free Groceries Food Distribution that serves over 1600 families per month in Detroit, Michigan. Also, she is the founder of Technology Inclusion Program for Women a certificated program committed to helping women become tech-savy.

 

Business and Entrepreneur 

 

As a business woman and entrepreneur, Dr. Plummer established Kingdom Awards. Kingdom Award acknowledges the accomplishments of men and women who have significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of life for all and who has dedicated their lives to advancing the kingdom of God by impacting lives with the gospel message of Jesus Christ. 

 

In 2016, through Kingdom Awards, Dr. Plummer honored more than 676 men and women across the globe with the PVSA President’s Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the 44th President of the United States, President Barack Obama.
 

Esther’s School of Beauty—a mentorship program for girls ages 10-17. Dr. Plummer has over 20 years of experience as account coordinator/trainer/business manager for some of the leading cosmetic lines in the industry. She is skilled as a licensed certified cosmetologist, a Success Image Consultant, and professional Celebrity Makeup Artist. She is the owner of Ruth Beauty Cosmetics. 

In addition, she is co-owner of the brand new board game Ebony-o-poly. She is co-author and developer of Business Development Initiative, Inc. an Entrepreneurship School for youth to acquire business and leadership skills inaccessible to them in the traditional school setting. She served as Executive Director of Georgia Minority Business Awards and the prestigious Gospel Choice Awards.

 

Music, Media, and Television Accomplishments

Christian Television Hostess & TV Professional / Songstress /Actress– Dr. Pauline Plummer is a Christian television host, and TV show producer. For over two decades, she worked with and served as host on WATC TV 57’s, “Atlanta Live Program, a national flagship program in Metro Atlanta with over 46 million viewers world-wide. 

Among her many other accomplishments during her television and hosting career, she served as host for the “Joy In Our Town Program” on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), the largest Christian network in the world and she served as co-host on the award-winning national and international program, “The Christian View”. 

Recently she joined her husband on the “The Lesson” program, which reaches approximately 80-million homes globally and has also appeared on numerous other television and radio shows.
 

Dr. Plummer is the first African-American Christian woman to own a television network. She established Covenant Daughters Television Network in 2019. Covenant Daughters Television Network is a unique network founded by woman, for women, and only women programming.

Her gift of singing catapulted her as a national and international recording artist, and named Best New Artist by the 2006 Gospel Choice Awards; Best Female Singer 2012 Gospel Choice Awards; appeared on nationwide television to sing for President Bill Clinton’s 50th Birthday Celebration. She received the Women of Wealth Bridge Awards “Change Agent Singer Award”. She performed for the MLK Memorial in Washington, DC and the 50th Anniversary March on Washington Legacy Gala. She has used her gift in many arenas such as Reinhart Bonke Crusades and praise and worship leader for Sid Roth Ministries. She is affectionately known as the “Duchess of Gospel”.

As an actress, she has graced the stage owning the lead role in the award-winning stage play “Spare The Rod, Spoil the Child” featuring the legendary Queen of Gospel, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Leandria Johnson, J. Anthony Brown, Shawn McLemore and Comedian Trina Jefferies . She also embraced the lead role in “One Sunday Morning” featuring Singer Tony Terry and Darlene McCoy. She also toured as the lead actress in “N-It-2-Win-It Stageplay. One of the highlights in her acting career is her role in the upcoming movie “He Was Paradise” featuring Shawn Ali and Shelly Garrett’s “Mrs. Claus Christmas’ shown on TBN.

On a personal note Dr. Plummer is the wife of Dr. Glenn R. Plummer. They are parents to a wonderful blended family which includes eight adult children and four beautiful grandchildren.

She currently serves as the executive pastor of Ambassadors for Christ Church/ The Midtown Church in Detroit, MI along with her husband. Also, she is the executive vice president / chief operating officer of WLPC TV.

Educationally, she attended University of Louisiana-Monroe and earned a Doctorate of Divinity from Tabernacle Bible College in Miami, Florida in 2004. She received an Honorary PhD from University of Leadership and Sound Doctrine in 2019. She is a 2016 recipient of the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama.
